Code of Conduct

1. Our Commitment

Bax, operated by Ziplyne Agency, is built for developers who ship. We are committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive, and harassment-free experience for everyone — regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, level of experience, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, sexual identity and orientation, or technology choices.

2. Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all Bax community spaces, including but not limited to: the Bax application (app.bax.dev), the Bax website (bax.dev), our GitHub repositories, social media channels, blog comments, support communications, and any other spaces where the Bax community interacts.

3. Expected Behavior

  • Be respectful and considerate in all communications
  • Provide constructive feedback when discussing the product or features
  • Respect differing viewpoints, experiences, and technology preferences
  • Accept responsibility for your actions and their impact on others
  • Focus on what is best for the community and the product
  • Use the Service in good faith and in accordance with our Terms of Service

4. Unacceptable Behavior

  • Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form
  • Offensive comments related to personal characteristics or technology choices
  • Trolling, insults, derogatory comments, or personal attacks
  • Publishing others' private information without explicit permission
  • Spam, unsolicited promotion, or abuse of community channels
  • Attempting to exploit, disrupt, or abuse the Service or its users
  • Any conduct that could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting

5. Reporting

If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it to us at admin@bax.dev. All reports will be reviewed and investigated promptly and confidentially. We will not retaliate against anyone who reports a concern in good faith.

6. Enforcement

Community leaders and moderators are responsible for enforcing this Code of Conduct. Actions taken in response to violations may include:

  • Warning: A private written notice explaining the violation and expected behavior change
  • Temporary restriction: Temporary suspension of access to community spaces or features
  • Permanent ban: Permanent removal from the community and termination of the account

The severity of the response will be proportional to the nature and impact of the violation.

7. Use of AI Features

Bax uses AI to generate project descriptions and audit dependencies. Users should not attempt to manipulate AI features to generate harmful, misleading, or offensive content. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes and users remain responsible for reviewing and using it appropriately.

8. Open Source Contributions

If you contribute to Bax's open-source repositories, this Code of Conduct applies to all interactions in those spaces, including issues, pull requests, code reviews, and discussions. Be kind, be constructive, and respect maintainers' time.

9. Changes to This Code of Conduct

We may update this Code of Conduct from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
